I made changes, hopefully for the better, to the interface on the front page. It has a cleaner, more consistent look now. The big news, however, is the search upgrade. Equidistant Eats is now using version 3 of the Yahoo Local Search API. You can now search for specific restaurant names and/or within certain categories, such as Italian, Pizza, Fast Food, etc. This should also solve the problem of strange, non-restaurant-related results being returned.
Next on the agenda is an upgrade to the layout of the search results page, which I'll hopefully be able to implement within the next month.
